A3Sec, the Platinum Sponsor of PyConES 2017, will give a talk at the event about the possibilities of OpenCV.
Today the artificial vision is opening a very wide field of research to allow devices to capture information from our environment in a visual way.
The extraction of features through a webcam can have interesting and curious uses, although it still seems a bit like science fiction, if you know the way, it is not so difficult.
In this talk we will connect a webcam and see how in real time we can obtain information from the environment around us. Some simple code with surprising results will be explained and some more elaborate examples will be shown.
The workshop will be developed by Juan Francisco Huete, from the A3Sec development team. Juan Francisco is a Telecommunications Engineer and Technical Engineer in Computer Systems, FullStack Developer at A3Sec, expert in drone programming, aviation electrical systems, etc ... and has participated in the development of our solutions WOCU Monitoring and BANDWIDTH-MONITOR.
